Day 1 // Arrival to Istanbul & Transfer to Hotel

 

Arrival to Istanbul. Your personal COS Agent will meet you at the A/P. You will get the tour documents and briefing about your tour. Transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Istanbul.

 

 

Day 2 // Full Day City Tour // Byzantine & Ottoman Relics (B-L)

 

Your Tour Guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00 and you will have a full day city tour. (Topkapi Palace, St.Sophia, Lunch at a charming restaurant, Blue Mosque, Hippodromme, Grand Bazaar)

Topkapi Palace: The former imperial residence from where the Great Ottoman Empire was ruled. Today a spectacular museum that has one of the largest collections of Chinese and Japanese porcelain and the very famous treasury of the Royal Family.

St.Sophia: The magnificent Byzantine Church of all times; one of the finest and largest architectural works of art in the world.

LUNCH: Full Course Deluxe Menu at a charming restaurant.

Blue Mosque: One of the biggest mosques of Istanbul from 17th century architecture is one of the principal adornments on the skyline of Istanbul. Also famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarest.

Hippodrome: The former center of sprotive and political activities of Constantinople. You will be able to see the Obelisk from Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi and fountain of Willhelm II.

Grand Bazaar: In addition to its historical importance, it's a bazaar that will tempt even the nonshoppers with its rich collection of precious handmade carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs.

After the tour, you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

 

Day 3 // Flight to Ankara // Ankara Tour & Cappadocia (B-L-D)

 

Pick up early from your hotel and transfer to A/P to take a flight to Ankara. Upon arrival your Tour Guide will meet you at A/P and Visit to the world-wide famous Anatolian Civilizations Museum also known as Hittite Museum and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place of the Turkish hero. Then departure for Cappadocia and lunch on the way. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake visit to the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan. Arrival to the Cappadocia region and overnight (L, D).

 

Day 4 // Full Day City Tour // North Cappadocia (B-L-D)

 

After having breakfast in the hotel visit to the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Lunch in a restaurant and then visit to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Pasabagi in Zelve region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide famous handicrafts. Overnight in Cappadocia.

 

Day 5 // Konya Tour // Pamukkale (B-L-D)

 

Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way visit to the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai and arrival in Konya. Lunch. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the world-wide famous mystic, proceed to Karatay Theological School in which  beautiful tiles are on display. Drive to Pamukkale and overnight.

 

Day 6 // Pamukkale Tour // Kusadasi (B-L-D)

 

In the morning visit to the ancient Hierapolis with the Theatre, Apollo Temple and magnificent Necropolis, the graveyard. Then drive to Aphrodisias and lunch. Later visit to the ruins and the museum. Drive to Kusadasi and overnight.

 

Day 7 // Full Day City Tour // Ephesus (B-L-D)

 

Morning tour to Ephesus area with Ephesus Antique City (Hillside Houses are excluded), Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; Virgin Mary's House, Selcuk Ephesus Museum and St. John Church. Overnigt in Kusadasi.

 

Day 8 // Pergamon Tour // Canakkale (B-L-D)

 

Early departure for Bergama and visit to the Asclepion and Acropol with the well preserved remains. Lunch and drive to Assos for a short visit to the village. Overnight at a simple but a cosy hotel in Assos or in Canakkale.

 

Day 9 // Troy Tour // Istanbul (B-L)

 

After breakfast drive to Troy, the place where the legendary Trojan War took place in the historical work of Homer of Smyrna. After visiting the site with nine inhabitation levels covering a period of 3000 years, drive to Canakkale and lunch. Thereafter sail to the other side of Dardanelles by a ferryboat and drive to Istanbul with visit to Gallipoli, historically famous for being the site of many battles - particularly involving the Allied Forces including Australians and New Zealanders during World War I. Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to the hotel . Overnight in Istanbul.

 

Day 10 // Departure // Transfer to Airport (B)

 

Your Personal COS Agent will meet you at your hotel and share your good memories with him/her. You will be transferred to Istanbul Airport according to your International Flight time. GoodBye!
